My conclusion is that to win over fascism we need more courage, and to prevent the return of fascism we put courage higher on the list of virtues in our societies.

There is no shortage of good people with good values and no shortage of resources. What we are short of is people with courage, the guts needed to put words into action, to risk health and fortune.

This morning, Ukraine hit Russia’s Novokuybyshevsk refinery in Samara, one of Rosneft’s key plants, processing 8.8M tons of crude annually, about 3% of Russia’s total refining capacity. Located ~1000km from Ukraine’s border, the site has been targeted before in previous strikes.
