self-flagellation and self-hate being another root cause for our failure to work towards a better future, but I think thatβs a topic for another time.

An additional noteβ I have some thoughts on the lack of self love and care, that being the kind where
democratic party or do something illegal. When people work towards helping, they learn whatβs successful and whatβs not from hands-on experience. What ends up inspiring them to action is something they heard from somewhere. If you want to help, inspire them to action instead of dissuading 14/15
23.03.2025 09:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0is worth something, and trying to dissuade them against action is usually not going to get them to do the same thing youβre doing, itβs going to get them to go back to being apathetic, and feel like thereβs nothing they can do again.
Iβm not saying you need to throw your weight behind the 13/15
itβs not worth it. It doesnβt mean you need to compromise on everything, but you have to work with what you have.
Iβve noticed a trend, in that so many people demand that people *donβt* put their effort into something because they believe itβs not going to work. Every option of fighting back 12/15
biggest issue we have as those that are the first to be sacrificed is biting down the bile and hatred we have for the formerly apathetic, for watching so many of us suffer until it hurts them too, and working together with them. The burden is always on us, and always has been. It doesnβt mean 11/15
23.03.2025 09:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0government help weβve fought for and relied on for years. That being saidβ
In a horribly macabre way, weβre getting there, and I donβt think itβs that far off. More people are standing up and asking for help, theyβre moving together and following a way to move forward. I think the 10/15
unwell. Itβs going to be everyone part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but especially trans people.
Itβs everyone whoβs been struggling and has for a long time, and under the greater publicβs nose theyβve been doing everything they can (for a while now) to cut us off from any means of 9/15
them, especially for white people, to recognize these things are connected and do something about it. Until then, itβll be down to those of us the least able to give and those targeted. Itβs going to be black people. The neurodivergent. Itβs going to be the physically disabled and the mentally 8/15

I think the problem is that itβs going to take a lot of people a lot more time, and a lot more loss around 7/15
who has dumped money into Trump or others, be it merch or donations, hoping that this time, *this* time, theyβll be saved. Those people have had their lives destroyed too, and are stuck. In real time, people are being lost into unchecked gambling, or have been lost to the drug epidemic thatβs 6/15
23.03.2025 09:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0 then itβs mostly people who have directly been in the crosshairs the last few years.
Even then! A lot of those same people have had close friends or family who get sucked into the cycle of incarceration for years, and they wouldnβt count those people. Or they have an uncle, parent, or sibling 5/15
taken or destroyed before theyβll act.
That sounds like a crazy high number, but the truth is, thereβs a significant lack of empathy in the US. There are people who already understand, and itβs sizable. But for a lot of those people, theyβre already on the left and have been observant, and 4/15
who knows a senator(3rd degree) whoβs met Obama (4th degree). I think at the end of the day, enough Americans arenβt going to stand up to protect themselves and each other against the current regime until around 50% of the population has, on average, 3 people 1 degree away, get their lives 3/15
23.03.2025 09:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0me, but I need to get this off my chest.
Do you ever hear about someone talking about the degrees of separation between people? As in, how many degrees of separation is a person away from say, Obama or whoever. Maybe you have a parent(1st degree) who knows the head of a bank(2nd degree) 2/15
I donβt really like to talk on social media, and more and more Iβm scared to leave a paper trail, of any kind regardless of how I actually feel. But I feel the need to share some feelings. Iβm also feeling a little bad for talking about this IMMEDIATELY after some new friends started following 1/15

We need to flood Congress with phone calls TODAY to make sure they don't slip the dangerous and misguided Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) into a must-pass year end bill.
This bill would make kids LESS safe and threatens LGBTQ ppl & human rights.
This honestly blows my mind: the House is poised to pass BIPARTISAN legislation tomorrow that will hand Trump terrifying powers to crush nonprofits and his enemies.
Dems need to hear from you: H.R. 9495 is a dangerous gift for aspiring dictator. It must be stopped. action.aclu.org/send-message...
