Ok it’s been a hard 3 days as Heath got sick. He’s at an dog hospital but, Heath has a forgin body in his interest and most like a tear in the intestines so I have decided to let him go. He’s miserable and with perforated intestines he might not recover so it’s what I feel I have to do for him.

I do wish that more of my Queer wrestling community overlapped with my Queer disability community

They aren’t sniffing out drugs or other contraband. So why do we get the hate for working our dog? I think it’s because people think of those other K9’s as public assets where our dogs are privet assets, there for we are selfish and abusive.

Many of my friends is the SD community use their dogs as medical alert dogs for things like Diabetes, heart issues and even migraine alerts.
Training is FUN for these dogs. Working is FUN for these dogs. Our dogs are like any other working K9. The difference is our dogs aren’t finding lost people,

Both dogs get treats all the time. Rosie also gets many treats when training.
Heath made it possible for me to leave my house when my panic attacks took that away from me. Heath was a psych service dog. Rosie will be psych and mobility aide.

Rant: I am so tired of people outside the disability community saying we abuse our service dogs/horses.
Why do people think we would abuse the thing giving most of us freedoms.
My dogs are spoiled. My retired sd, is living the good life. Both dogs get large bones 🦴 weekly.

Hey dog people:
I’m interested in getting a dog grooming table because my back can’t handle leaning over to brush the doggos out. Her max weight is 150 so I know I want one that holds up to 200lbs. Heath is under 90lbs so his weight isn’t an issue. Help a handler out?
