We're not done yet | 18F

18F was doing exactly the type of work that DOGE claims to want – yet we were eliminated shortly after midnight. Read our letter to the American people:

been thinking a lot about how tours of service hiring hacks resulted in a federal technology workforce that is largely outside organized labor protections. so much of 18F and USDS are in term-limited roles that leave them ineligible for union membership, even if they've been there for years.

BREAKING: Federal judge temporarily blocks Trump administration from implementing anti-trans Trump orders that would stop trans-related medical care in federal prisons and lead to trans inmates’ transfers. This followed a hearing in DC earlier today. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Hey - federal employees: If you want to share information about what is happening inside the federal workplace...you should contact a proper reporter.
But if you want to anonymously talk to me, especially about what morale is like at your workplace, I am on Signal @dmoyn.01

Compelling Mass Civil Servant Resignations Will Create Chaos Twitter is not a model for government reform

New, from me: Looking closer at the effort to induce mass civil servant resignations.
*The offers are not real buyouts
*Feds should read the fine print
*If mass resignations occur, it is really bad for the rest of us

was also surprised by the consolidation of printing companies! of our previous printers, one was absorbed by sheridan, and then sheridan no longer works with printers our size. we're basically left with one viable option that does reasonable print quality with an option of delivery and warehousing.
