Are you handy with a wrench? I've had some crazy schemes to electrify vintage bikes but haven't found a bike to call my victim or a motor I thought I could properly mount. Have you considered a powered hub laced into a 26 and battery storage above it on a rack?

This old schwinn made a 17 mile ride with about 100 ft of elevation with 0 issues. This old girl is cherry!

They are super cool though, the "loop tail" frame on the left is a nod to the older Colson loop tails.

It could be, idk if they offered her tubes with tanks. I also think they were a special alloy.

That looks like a 50s monark silver king bicycle, very cool set of wheels!

Got the 41 cleaned and shined up decided to take her to the lake for a photoshoot with the tornado. Both of these just look and ride so smooth

A beautiful example of a survivor, this 41 Hawthorne Skiptooth bike was used by its original owner to deliver newspapers. I was fortunate to get such a cool set of wheels and with minimal work I have a nice cruiser.

Ooh I gotcha, I knew the core was damaged somehow but I've never really tried to learn about chernobyl outside the radiation effects on the surrounding animals

Cleaned up and greased up, still need to fool around with a grease nipple on the rear but the OG tires and tubes held air for a nice short ride. I did a very simple scrub and polish to let this paint shine through.
