Nope. Non-voting citizens are as irrelevant to deciding the future of the country as non-citizens.

I have no intention to vote for 3rd party candidates. As an Independent, I will still vote for Democrats who I support. But I can no longer pledge myself to be a reliable down-ballot Dem voter that I used to be and don’t want to give the DNC the satisfaction of counting me among their ranks.

I’ve been a registered Democrat since 1992 but I became an Independent after the 2024 election. The Democrats have lost their way and now have a tarnished brand, especially among young voters. I’d be that the Trump party will gain seats at the midterm and Vance will win in 2028
