I just ran my resume through ChatGPT just to see what it would recommend, and now I understand why people use AI-generated resumes. :P I like to think I have a pretty good grasp of how to put together a decent resume, but 80% of the changes it made were definitely improvements.

Who will enforce "the worse for the courts"? I would like to agree with you, but without practical enforcement of existing law (which has not been occurring so far), those words aren't worth the electrons they're printed on.

New pet peeve: people claiming that a particular social media site or dating site or whatever site "doesn't have an algorithm". Literally everything a computer does has an algorithm. Software that doesn't have any algorithms doesn't (*can't*) do anything.

I'm not sure how comparing response to this post is supposed to help figure out whether Elon is throttling you. So many people have left eX-twitter that a drop in engagement is probably due to a smaller audience, not to being throttled.

Maybe I'll try considering Bluesky my primary social media for a while and see how that goes.

Most of the things that currently make Facebook different from Bluesky are things I would want to eliminate anyway (exceptions include allowing longer posts, having multiple reaction emojis, and a fairly robust messenger app; those I like).

Yesterday I was thinking about posting that I wish there were a social media site that differs from Facebook in the same way that Bluesky differs from Twitter. I didn't post it because it occurred to me that Bluesky may be that site.
