Big potential scoop from Kathryn Batte! Oxtoby did a brilliant job with Bristol City and is clearly a very well-regarded coach. Would certainly be an interesting and slightly unexpected appointment.

Honestly, I’ve been a bit kind to Sunderland in the prediction. Given how they’ve played recently I can see a comfortable Newcastle victory if they don’t massively step up. I thought yous played well at Durham and were unlucky not to win. As long as the Blades don’t lose that’s my weekend sorted!

Sunderland absolutely crumbled. It’s obviously hard to judge but they’ve looked quite weak both mentally and physically recently. Pompey were putting strong challenges in all game and I don’t think they could cope. Really poor defending for the equaliser but the winner was a great goal.
