Huely wraps up toweling himself in the shower while Gelle rinses the suds from his clean fur. “I’m gonna hop out and make us some breakfast.” “Right on. I’ll be right behind you.” 2. Minutes later, Gelle, still sopping wet, steps out of the shower and makes his way to the kitchen. 3. “Something smells goooood!” Gelle is seen toweling his headfur, standing nude and dripping with water all over the kitchen floor. “It’s—“ Huely begins to speak, facing away from Gelle. Not yet realizing the soggy state of his boyfriend. 4. As Huely spins around to present two plates of omelette, hash browns, and buttered toast, he’s overtaken by Gelle’s wet-dog shakes. Clean bathwater saturates his fur and their breakfast. Huely can only stand expressionless. “—Wet.” This concept came to me after having a discussion with friends about how we dry off in the shower. I’m in the camp of entirely drying off in the shower before stepping outside onto he bathmat. Most of my friends prefer drying off on the mat outside of the shower. It sparked the idea that Gelle never grew out of his method of drying off and Huely witnesses it for the first time in their relationship.
