Have you considered the idea that boomers are the major demographic protesting because of retirement? Younger people want to get involved and still have families to feed, and house. I am 54, solidly Gen X and I am out there every chance I get between my THREE jobs that total 60 hours a week. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was about to say the same. I got it as a child, I knew what he was saying was wrong. We had a multi-cultural family and so while I heard the white people around me laughing, my brown family members were not. I soaked it all in.
