It’s not the easiest thing necessarily (because there’s so much in it), but I’ve found any time I’m trying to do a specific thing I can find some good tutorials and build up a knowledge base fairly well - start off with parallax movement across a background and work up :)

If you work in Adobe already, AfterEffects isn’t too tricky, especially for parallax/simple motions etc, and it’s integrated very well with photoshop (you can import a photoshop file, keep the layer structure intact and still work almost seamlessly back and forth)

That means that if you know any two lengths you can work out the third, or if you have a specific length in mind for C (the longest edge) you can work out a range of lengths for A and B, which is very useful for engineering or crafting any number of things :)

I don’t know the theory of it, but practically:
No! Replace A and B with 10, for example. 10 + 10 = 20, but C is not twice as long as A or B.
If you square them, 100 + 100 = 200, which would mean that C is the square root of 200 (141 and a bit), which is correct!
