You deserve candidates that aren't Nazis, whether that be a secret or not.

You also deserve candidates that aren't stupid.

I’d like to suggest a reframe

Everything has gone up in price. Not just food. The true cost of LIVING, which could include anything from beef to things like rent or license plate fees or electricity — it’s all more $$.

That’s what makes this feel different. Everything, everywhere, all at once.

What women on the left already knew before the files came out is that men can imagine a world of class consciousness (Chomsky), a universe more expansive than ever before known (Hawking), a world where you can live forever (Attia) but not a world where women are fully human.

Some of these increases are not a result of “steady price raises over time.”

Some price jumps go beyond regular inflation and are the result of, say, tariffs.

Some of it is greedflation and opportunism.

And paying more for everything in ALL sectors of life is overwhelming.

Stancil misses a larger point:

It’s not just about purchase power. It’s the literal cost of being alive and kicking.

EVERYTHING has increased in price: Food, utilities, property taxes, car repair, clothes, health insurance, airplane tix, garden soil, postage, streaming (yes, I track my expenses).

It surprises me not at all that she and Lewandowski are the kind of people who would behave like this.

This seems completely in character for both of them.
