It’s disturbing and discomforting to examine but there are several anti-phone and anti-social media initiatives weaponizing murders and suicides of teens, leveraging grieving parents, and exaggerating or inventing causation to try and limit speech online and restrict tech freedoms

Painful to read experts w/ such shallow insights into impunity. While masks certainly impede "accountability" for state crimes - the apparatus of accountability is far more complex. These agents will eventually be identified - & will never be held to account by a state that protects law enforcement

It's good to fact-check tyrants, but let's not forget this wouldn't be okay even if they were trafficking drugs. Drugs is just another arbitrary reason to gain and wield power.
