If anyone thinks my recent posts are a bit emotionally nutty, which is completely understandable, I assure you I am doing a *really* good job of keeping my shit under control online and off compared to how I was when I wasn't on meds 2 years ago

I'll push they/them in part because I get sick of people doing said overwriting and just kinda treating that I'm non-binary as optional and irrelevant at will, but I don't really care that much about pronouns, and it's not a third gender.

My thing as a non-binary person is societal connections with terms like 'man' or 'woman' are meaningless to me unless reinforced by overwriting my personality with a Male character sheet just because I have a dick. Calling me daddy, boyfriend, good boy, whatever is otherwise fine.

It's hard to parse a situation where someone uses a specific incident between the two of you to paint your entire relationship as only ever that way, with no recognition there was more to it. You can't address the actual issue, it's all noise, and you're left with nowhere to go but further downhill.

I've burned a lot of (most) bridges with people close to me, and they all haunt me. You don't really get to re-do or fix it, and sometimes owning up to something you did wrong may be the right thing to do, but it may also be what drives the final nail in and causes you to lose that person forever.
