It's disappointing because there's *almost* a good movie there, but it comes off like an assembly of individually interesting scenes that don't connect or go anywhere. The beginning is hard to get past.

Tawny owl
Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.
After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls Iβve ever had, asking βSo when are you coming to pick up your owl?β π§΅
I would like to thank @filmbrainbmb.bsky.social for editing in the blurb about Finn. He was in my theatre circle of friends when this came out, and considering most of us knew him as a Juilliard-bound Shakespeare guy, he was given endless (good-natured) shit about this movie. π
