Tuberculosis has been circulating in ICE prisons for months. I wrote it back in August and there is no doubt in my mind that there are way more outbreaks than we're aware of. We have to get people out of these camps.

As a "highly independent" person (who was conflict averse when it came to advocating for myself), I didn't even THINK to ask for what I medically needed.

The plentiful food was awesome, but the strict rules against taking food with you out of the dining hall really sucked when my hypoglycemia kicked in my senior year. Every dollar I earned went to tuition and books, so I had nothing for snacks. Every day I was shaking by dinnertime.
