Last night’s Riichi meetup taught me I need to play a bit more defensive. “Know when to hold ‘em know when to fold ‘em” applies to Mahjong too. Especially when the player to your right calls riichi.

Yup!!! Same as with my gaming group too. Which is why I was lucky to have and found a Riichi Mahjong meetup group in my area! They even have automatic shuffling tables too!! That being said i like building the wall and I find hand shuffling is soothing:-)
