A strong and wise third (fourth, fifth, etc.) party has been SO freaking necessary for decades. Apparently humanity is far too flawed to handle sustaining a democracy. Sigh.

Most of us “believe” we are good neighbors, good friends, good citizens. But the reality is that for decades, anyone who goes into that booth and chooses Republicans to represent them has completely failed the good citizen portion, and has become the worst of us, and potentially the end of us.

Well, there is another way - simply understanding the basics of math, logic, and human nature. Pitifully, this country is infested with people so moronic that even this hammer to the head won’t make an impression.

When chaos reigns and remedies are necessary, optimism seems more of an impediment; simultaneously acting as an impotent panacea and a form of denial that moves us no closer to solutions. Is anyone hearing solutions? Optimism alone is dangerous, and annoying.
