Lol, no he doesn't. He drives a used '89 Bronco cuz he's a weirdo. I've trimmed from 80/20 stock bond portfolio to about a 60/40 in my personal portfolio and increased my cash holdings to ~ 10% of all assets. My corporate portfolio is about 93% bonds and 7% equities.
There will be a pop for sure.
Hard to do when you're in S&P 500 indexed funds though.
20.11.2025 15:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Right? It would've been great if he acted for his constituents rather than self-interest
19.11.2025 20:02 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Who's not giving him credit?
19.11.2025 20:01 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0She should've never been the nominee, or at least not in the way it happened. Biden fucked the dems over by running for reelection and dropping out after it was too late to run a primary. She scrambled the best she could but pissed off the left by catering to republicans who'd never bote for her
19.11.2025 19:59 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yeah, it was a great bill. Probably the most aggressive investment package since the new deal. I just don't see it as coming from a necessarily left wing lense rather than fuck this long overdue lmao
19.11.2025 19:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0But at the end of the day he was a populist in that he embodied and inspired millions to hope, which was what ultimately propelled him to victory. A centrist won't be able to do that in this environment
19.11.2025 19:51 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0And I don't think Obama is a radical, just radical relative to competition.
He was primarily aligned with Edwards and Clinton on most issues, but needed prodding on the individual healthcare mandate
That's fair on Kusinich
19.11.2025 19:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Not hostile to the left but his policy was centrist. Even the infrastructure bill would be considered centrist in actual terms, not the distorted American overton window where its billed as communism. But as soon as minorities spoke out after 10/7, we saw where his convictions lie
19.11.2025 19:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0So to me, it is you who are shitposting
19.11.2025 19:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0We just lost every single swing state running a centrist against a literal nazi and naziism won. What we need is a left wing populist like Mamdani.
Think back to '08. Obama was radical (relatively speaking amongst dem primary challengers) and he won twice!
We ran a centrist against extremism the last three elections and extremism won twice. They only lost once because of a biblical ass plague.
I've seen the think tank analysis. They primarily rely upon unrepresentative polls and cater towards the rich donor class rather than popular appeal.
Where's the evidence that centrism wins?
19.11.2025 14:08 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Like Vanity Fair's take is weird or the OP's take?
18.11.2025 23:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Pic of trump (derogatory) with a neck pussy

18.11.2025 00:53 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Well, no. Their GPUs were profitable long before the AI boom started in 2013. I don't disagree with you that it will be bad. I just think your assumptions are based on cognitive biases rather than any understanding of economics
17.11.2025 20:46 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0No, that is not my point. I hate AI and agree it will lead to a bubble pop. I was just curious to see if you had information I wasn't privy to as we simply disagree as to the severity. No reason to get bent out of shape
17.11.2025 20:41 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Oh nice!
17.11.2025 19:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Ann Selzer's poll missed by 16 points
Yeah, I'm not gonna hold my breath
17.11.2025 19:14 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I bet it comes in between the dotcom bubble and 08-09
17.11.2025 19:06 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Shows Nvidia with a 50+% profit margin
Do you know what mortgage securitization is? When good loans are packaged with bad loans, the rotten apple spoils the bunch.
Nvidia's profit margins are solid.
I think the bubble could have downstream effects but it'll primarily hit the investor class the worse.
That's not true: mortgage debt is much larger
17.11.2025 18:00 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Why do you think it'll be worse than 08-09?
17.11.2025 16:35 β π 4 π 1 π¬ 1 π 0Trump reading this: "holy shit, that's a great idea!"
17.11.2025 15:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'd imagine this would help the prosecution as the suspect would lose the protection of their office, no?
17.11.2025 15:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Woah, woah, woah. What's with all the medical jargon over here?
17.11.2025 06:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0That makes a lotta sense to me. As a non-hockey fan, there doesn't seem to be personalities that transcend the game
