Political reporting from New York: well before nearly 15,000 nurses across New York City went on strike this week, tensions were already roiling in the power that employ them. Their union, the New York State nurses Association, discovered the Mount Sinai health system had changed the locks to its on-site officers that two facilities were negotiations were stalled.

Mt. Sinai has made itself hostile to nurses & patients through union-busting tactics and dropping Anthem insurance.

They’d rather spend $100,000,000 on AI.

My goal is to make the amount I’m losing from being on medical leave + pay the lawyer who is helping me with my case.”

I want to say a quick THANK YOU to everyone who has been so incredibly sweet. Having a heart attack is a scary thing and feeling supported is such a blessing.
