She just visited Eva here in the hospital on Monday.

Those "unknown complications" had turned out to be a rare bone marrow disorder. She was being treated by the same doctors who were treating Eva. She was about to receive a bone marrow transplant from her sister in December that would've saved her.

This young lady just passed away last night.

On the plus side, I just found out there's a new book in the series this year, which is a big surprise to me.

First movie is apparently "rise of the Merlin," which doesn't sound right, that should be second. Taliesin is one of the best books of the series.
