We rewatched The West Wing before the election to get us through it. We're now rewatching The Sopranos. It feels appropriate.

This whole government thing is held together by spit, bailing wire, and not well defined norms that have been developed and held to for decades. We're going to find out exactly what people are capable of. "I never thought the leopards would eat MY face".

The scope of what could change over the next 4 years is tragically underappreciated by people who work for the federal government and supported the incoming administration. The cognitive dissonance is staggering.
