Three of the party fell through the floor and had a run in with a ‘baby’ gelatinous cube, they had a brief run in with a ghost (they ran from that) and had a small battle with two ancient (small and crumbly living statues).

Ghost might have been a bit much but … it was a good one!

All the #ttrpg games where I do a rough map and litter it with notes are some of the most enjoyable games (running one at garycon ‘26).

By handwriting these out I remember 90% and can be more spontaneous. I got a good feeling about this one!

2nd level group is tasked with checking a forgotten part of the city … traps, weak (collapsible) floors, and stone (but very heavily damaged) guardians await.

I’ve found myself flipping it on the record player for an hour or so.

I’ve been doing #design work for over 25 years. I get more enjoyment from taking a few hours to paint an rpg mini or learning woodworking then the hours in front of a monitor.

I love real. I like using my hands to create. Digital, in comparison, looks nice but can feel hollow.

Played Aliens (as a player) and while the DM struggled with some of the rules the story and mood had me hooked. (Soooo many twists!!!)
