As Deathstroke enters her dwelling, he's already made several notes. Possible improvised weapons that can be used by him or against him, escape routes (only one), how flammable the canopy of the roof might be for a diversion as he leaves. Dozens of ways to kill her if this is some ruse.

He knelt back down, peeling the rest of the face off to reveal that the face of someone else entirely. An older, balding Caucasian man with glassy eyes and a horrified expression even in death.

"Optical camouflage in in the shape of a mask. All the bigwigs use them these days for their body-

entirely as he observed what was left of the corpse.

"Had some fun with this one, huh? Not leaving much to be found by the cleanup crew. Good work. I'm impressed."

His hand gripped the base of Tanaka's throat, gripping hard and seemingly ripping his flesh off.

"But this is 𝙣𝙤𝙩 Daisuke Tanaka."

"You're new."

Slade sheathed his sword behind his back like he was putting on a coat for work, the casualness of it all offset by the blood covering his suit.

"Or maybe you're just now taking jobs worth a damn."

He stepped closer, walking past her-

a layer of ash already settling on his breastplate before following her. His mask face ignoring the stares and keeping focused straight ahead. Let them look.

"-And if you're every bit the queen they say you are, they'll start seeing you in the same light as they did her. And if you're to be a goddess? Be a goddess of 𝘸𝘢𝘳."

As they landed, Slade felt himself being picked up like a doll. A humiliating gesture.

"Don't do that again." He brushed-

He saw the desolation with his good eye, a smattering of huts, not much to brag about. Not much at all. He was surprised they made it this far with how little natural resources they had.

"That's what faith is. A trap. You're wise to to be there for your people when your 'Ewya' was not."

Oh yeah she would be on a personal vendeta against him. She wouldn't have held it against him if hes shot her or broken a bone those healed but this was a wounded pride, an ago draged into the mud and only one person in Metropolis had a bigger ego.

|| Oh yeah, knowing that every character is just in the group for their own self interest and anyone can be back stabbed at any moment. Deathstroke is kinda known to be untrustworthy like that so I'm sure he'd find some way to screw everyone over.
