Práve sme prišli z Námestia slobody - Nežná krásna organizácia! Mám taký blbý pocit, že s tými babrákmi tam vo vláde to ale ani nehne… Napriek tomu sa tam zajtra vrátime znova. S malou nádejou. Aj s kriedami a dúfam, že nás príde čo najviac.

Iba si predstavujem ako velmi sa na Harvarde musia zanho hanbit…

I looked at explanations from NASA, ESA, Hubble, JWST, and other observatories. There are so many hardworking scientists studying this, so I couldn’t understand why people were blindly following just one astrophysicist. This article perfectly sums up this issue. Btw love the chicken argument 👏

So I went digging deeper. The whole situation reminded me of COVID, when many distrusted real experts. I started to search for astronomers that are actually involved in the research, the “other ones”who wrote papers and analyzed the comet directly. The ones that didnt get the media attention.

As a normie who knows nothing about astronomy or comets, I also got caught up in Avi Loeb’s blog posts. When I began feeling anxious and fearful, I paused and thought, “Wait a minute…” My background in media reminded me how fear, sensationalism, and clickbait can manipulate the brain.

Moved out here from X which I deleted today (phew finally!) to get some normal and healthy scientific views (was interested about the comet 3I/Atlas) to see that some people already blocked me 🙄 I did nothing wrong so this hostility is surprising… is this because I set different interests here?
