Title “heliosail presents the jobian system”

The Jovian System was one of the founding powers of the United Colonies, and is the current seat of the United Council. Consisting of the various moons of Jupiter, Jovians value innovation and welcome researchers from all over the solar system. Their societies invest heavily into terraforming, making their mark on Jupiter’s moons and setting their sights on worlds beyond Sol.

Major population areas in the jovian system range from the futuristic cities of callisto, to the paradise world of ganymede. Callisto is home to the founding colony of the jovian system, and its capital city, Fimbul. Other colonies exist on the many other moons of Jupiter, such as icy europa. While dangerous and largely uninhabitable, some research stations are known to exist on Io, largely home to intrepid scientists.

These were a really fun process I tried for the first time, using real watercolor color swatches and scanning those in for the color in the final digital drawing!
