A digital fanart piece of Kaladin Stormblessed from Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive book series. Kaladin stands in the middle of a chasm, illuminated by sparse light far overhead. He is wearing most of his blue, white, and tan uniform, but the coat is hidden off-screen. He holds a silver spear. The chasm cracks host bits of life in the way of moss and red-tipped frill vines. Deep horizontal gouges along the walls mark the passage of a chasm fiend. The overall scene depicts a moment in time where Kaladin, off duty, takes some personal time to visit the chasms and, finding a moment of peace, performs spear kata. It's an assumed moment, not a specific book scene.
Finished finally! Very happy with how it turned out. Got to apply a lot of techniques I learned over the years to this piece, so I had fun! :D
