Saying goodbye to summer....

A photo I took on the Côte d'Alabâtre in Normandy last year. A couple enjoying the simple pleasure of watching the sun set on another day.

Love that. The badge on the radiator grille suggests a Daihatsu, guessing mid late 70s. Company now owned by Toyota, so quite possible in Japan I think. Not sure about model though.

Lovely late summer walk up Mam Tor, Lose Hill and beyond on Wednesday. Living in this part of Yorkshire, Derbyshire and the Peaks doesn't often make top of the list for days out. So glad it did this week.

Just back from our first visit to Madeira for a blast of very welcome warmth after a pretty rubbish summer here in Yorkshire.
