That's all too easy to abuse. We have a broken judicial system.

I would be happy with age limits for presidents, members of Congress, and Supreme Court justices.

But how will a US president do their job if they don't have complete immunity?

What do you mean some 40+ presidents have done so over the course of 250 years without that being a problem?

And we allow it to exist because we can't delete our accounts.
We still have not gotten enough of relatives' now openly racist views, finding out childhood friends took a wrong turn in life and are full MAGA, and the angry, troll bots that make up more than 51% of all social media.

I would agree that too many Democrats are spitting out more right-wing policies than before. The extreme right has shifted the country to the right so much that many Democrats are delusional enough to think that "on the fence" Republicans exist and will vote for them if they go further to the right.

Congress has no backbone to fight Trump, only the courage to stand on the wrong side of history.

This. This is why the system needs to be made again.

From the beginning, the US had to twist itself into a knot to square the circle of "freedom" with the circle of racism.

Our laws are meant to protect those in power, leaving everyone else to fend for themselves.

Abolish the new slave catchers.

You are being misled about renewable energy technology.
YouTube video by Technology Connections You are being misled about renewable energy technology.

The first time I saw @techconnectify.bsky.social during the pandemic, I felt like I found a little gem of a channel to learn more about the technology around me.
Today, I saw the passion and ferocity about the future of the US that the current situation demands. Example set

No.

The causation runs the other way; the more they try to strip women of autonomy, the harder women have to fight back.

So, you gave up all your leverage on all other budget priorities until Sep and this is what you came up with?

Your first three points should be defund, defund, defund.

Can we just admit that there is no scandal big enough to sink Trump? We need to stop waiting for a single crime or scandal to take him out. We need to strike, we need to hold him accountable for all of it, for the lies, the corruption, the waste, the abuse of power, now.

Enough is enough.

If it happens under Trump, Altman will probably get a bailout to use for a stock buyback and leadership bonuses. And Trump will even throw in a pardon.

Every time I think that the Democratic leadership could not let us down any further, you, sir, decide to open your mouth and say the most out-of-touch, head-smacking, unity-breaking nonsense that makes me wonder if you are trying to drive the Democratic Party further into irrelevance.

NO means no.

No more funding - set the limit to the same amount ICE had under Obama.

No masks - accountability starts with transparency

No warrants, no arrest - even bounty hunters can't just start arresting people in hopes they have a warrant for their arrest after the fact

No, "commonsense" reform only gives them more money for surveillance and violence.

If you think "training" won't be used to make them more into soldiers or other military outfits, then you are more out of touch than your dated ideologies.

So you are saying that we are randomly taxing people and businesses through arbitrary tariffs on our allies, rivals, and everyone in between (with the very notable exception of Russia, which did not see an increase in tariffs, how odd), made everyone worse off?

Can you imagine anyone else getting caught committing a crime against children and getting off scot-free by just resigning their job?

Oh, that always happens, e.g., priests, coaches, cops, politicians, or the ultimate get out of jail free card, have money.

That's literally the whole point of Constitutional Originalism.

Interpreting the law of a handful of white men, disregarding 250 years of history, technology, education, ethics, justice, war, policy, rules, regulations, science, knowledge, economics, protest.....

There is no time to follow the law to enforce the law.

”We should just arm law enforcement, and if the vibes are off, they should just execute them in the streets.”

Oh, ICE can already do that.

This is literally the ultra-wealthy playbook, but media outlets push their point of view, whatever that point of view happens to keep their power andinfluence. And since the news outlet is a tiny part of their wealth, it doesn't matter if it's successful.

Every vote just normalizes this insanity.

Why do we keep giving this regime any legitimacy?

McConnell treated Obama with the contempt and bureaucratic middle finger that every single Democrat should be doing to the man who is quite literally tearing the US democracy apart.

It just shows the US didn't last 250 years because of the strength of our values and principles, but rather by luck.

Luck, someone cared enough to make the hard choices.

Luck, someone cared to hold power accountable.

Luck someone was willing to sacrifice for a greater good.

Luck rus out.

Pizzagate had people joining conspiracy forums to track down those evil men. Now there is proof of a cabal of evil men protected by the wealth from prosecution, but somehow that same "enthusiasm" is just so hard to muster.

What amazes me about the Trump years is that somehow the college-educated, the scientist, the blue state/cities are the elite that are destroying the US through their woke ideology.

This is coming from the former Goldman Sachs executives, McKinsey consultants, and legacy Ivy League alumni.
