I've had to say no to GEN AI when it first started getting popular. My players don't send me those anymore.

The ethical issues aside, I make pixel versions of each PC's art for our stream and GEN AI stuff is impossible to use as a reference.

Its one of my favorite improvised bits of lore. A Paladin PC nat 20'd a roll on a near impossible history check untrained so I had to improvise lol

So obviously the globe of this unknown world had to be identical to the stories he was told at as a child. The only idea that came to mind in 10 sec

The weird quirks of running an international game

Its almost always been IRL stuff clouding my head. I've been in a like 6 month long content creator burnout and my energy to GM has been going up and down

My energy levels have been near rock bottom, I used to make 20+ tokens, a few maps, and multiple plot lines in a week, but now i hardly make one

Yup, my personal project has basically been dropped for like 4-5 months and my backlog of stuff to edit is getting huge.

Idk if its the stress of the world, but this year I've had 10% of the energy I've had before and investing the little I have into a hobby feels beyond selfish

We also have a currency called Dream Shards, which are crystalized fragments of the dreams of Cthulhu who sleeps at the center of the world. The dreams would only drive a normal mortal insane but are sources of great power for wielders of the darkest forms of magic

Father Willow is like fantasy weed and is the most traded good on Croth'Duw. Its a boon to elves and casters but clouds the minds of any other. The euphoric bliss it gives is more sinister than just a high. The crop has been divinely cursed at its very roots to hide the dark truth of this world

I constantly can't decide so I like to run long campaigns with one shots for random ideas

My current group has 2 long running campaigns going and a few one shot ideas in the oven. Our 2nd campaign was a one shot that we couldnt let go of. Everything is one setting and I left each effect the other

Making my own content has really made me appreciate the amount of effort that goes into the behind the scenes and just how nice it is to get a pick me up from a random comment

I still want to make the occasional animation just because I know a few people love them

The only PC I made was for a player game that got cancelled

He was going to be a druid that focused on being stealthy and supporting

I always imagined him surprising the other PCs by popping out of the wilderness with advice dressed like a tree or animal to 'blend' in

Our Necromancer is also a Lawyer so he has MASTERED being LE, and has had some insane ideas. Like using a plague infested hospital as his own warehouse

But my favorite is when he managed to curse a God by using a fraction of that God's soul that he got from drawing out from one of his abominations

I am starting to feel like I need to drop the actual play channel and start making anti-facist content

As an ex-pat American I have been struggling with feeling obligated to stop this spread for years and now it's regret

The call is being made and every citizen of a democracy needs to fight for it

Needed to make a new NPC super quick so I used a very old token a foundation.

Which is an amazing game every GM should play. Amazing story telling and really gets your GM brain working!

I view it like the difference between a Young Adult and Adult in the sims. Your body gets to roughly its final stage around 18-20, but it takes your mind until your mid-20s to be fully developed. I just view it that elves are immature for longer while they figure out who they are.

My plots are best described as webs and even the tiniest detail can be foreshadowing something years down the line

My campaigns reference and even foreshadow for each other( a benefit to having one group)

Yeah, I'm lucky most the characters are already made since I do pixel tokens for every PC and NPC, but animating the faces only took like 5hrs and I now have way too many versions of that fox's face. Lol
