While I gave up a regular D&D campaign, while editing D&D magazines I found myself playing far more variety of RPGs for playtesting sessions and at conventions. Probably slightly less gaming on average, but certainly much more interesting gaming.

I liked the early episodes, but I like world cinema that often doesn’t move fast.

But Andor accelerates and blew me away. Such strong accumulation.

In my experience, that’s not unusual.

BTW, I thought of you a few months back while re-watching Capitaine Conan. I had forgotten virtually all of it.

Kurosawa Kiyoshi’s Cloud begins as a slow crescendo of dread and then takes a sharp turn into cuckoo bananaland. Recommended.

Despite the loss of their home amphitheater and the financial fallout from Covid, Freewill Shakespeare has mounted a cracking good production of As You Like It down by the river. Check it out, and, if you can, throw them a few bucks to help them survive until a return to Hawrelak.

Pretty good early turnout, especially for a long weekend Monday. They made the wise decision to sell coffee. Lots of young adults and kids.
