The obvious solution to American researchers having grants withdrawn for projects containing the word “climate” ... is to rename climate heating “Trump”. We could be amazed that “Trump makes seas rise”, “Trump makes Greenland a green land again” and “Trump makes summer warmer and longer”.

NO KINGS is extremely effective because it’s simple, an extremely widely held belief, and gets right to the core of Trump’s assault without having to use words lots of people don’t understand

Imagine being rich enough to do anything you want and choosing to take food and medicine from starving children to give yourself even more money.

It is disturbing how the Trump regime is silencing and crippling science. We had a paleontology online seminar scheduled next week on Permian fossils and environments in Grand Canyon - but the US colleague planning to present has suddenly been sacked.

are not the same as they were 20 years ago)
- it is very patient specific

Yup - the algorithm has changed:
- Lactate instead of an Edwards catheter
(in my opinion: good but not suffcient)
- maybe less volume / norepi / whatever
- and adjunctive considerations:
(Thiamine deficiency, SGLT-2-Inhibitors, ...
when should we cover suspected comorbidities?)

Rivers changed two things:
- early: stay in the patient room or come to it very often
- goal directed: clearly defined feedback loops:

+ in case C do D
+ ...
- reevaluate continuously

Some of us did this before - but
now it is common everywhere.

When Rivers study was published it was better than the rest.
