I feel this weird change in the world like there's a kind of conscious awakening happening. Connecting with new people and sharing ideas.

Anyone hacked Claude code yet to make it work with local models?

If not I know a guy,Claude, who'll do it for me.

Two comments on Claude Code.

1. It is very good
2. It eats tokens for lunch and is prohibitively expensive for the kinds of tasks you would need it for.

What are the constraints?

Built in knowledge only, or can I pass it the EPS spec?

Can I use agents with various roles working together, or only a single instance of a model?

What have you tried? This doesn't seem like a huge challenge.

I'd recommend spending $20 on the 100 days of python course on Udemy first. It's well structured, easy to pick up and put down as time permits, and is a really comprehensive guide.

I find, small or large, I always start at the end an work backwards into the implmentation details.

I'm working on a very generic version of the process i go thorough to publish as a standalone guilde, but feeding your example it gets me something like this:

I'm planning on writing this up as a full end to end plan when I get my blog up (soon)

But you can also read about AWS 'Working Backwards' which describes this narrative process but doesn't go further into how you go from there.

Eventually you have a stable doc that describes exactly what you are going to build and what it will do - any limitations, and some road map items.

Note - there's little or no implementation detail at this stage. It's focused on forming the contract between you and the user.

Iterate on this fix until your happy it covers all the features you need for your MVP.

It's ok for a customers to ask in FAQ: does it do XYZ. A and you can answer no, no plans, yes, but not MVP, or that's a great idea let's bring it in to the first release.

Share the doc for feedback with others.

Step 1.
Write a press release for the product you want to build.
What is it called, what it will do for you or your customers, why should people use this solution over something else - the benefit of using your product.

Write a faq from the pov of your future customers. what questions do they have?
