A sunrise scene over Lake Superior. The foreground is comprised of black basalt, partially covered in ice. The lake is calm, allowing the light in the sky to be reflected on the lake's surface. On the horizon, dark, heavy cloud cover gives way to partially cloudy skies filled with thin, puffy clouds. Golden light from the sun appears in the center above the clouds, illuminating the fluffy clouds in a pale orange and peach light.

It’s going to be well below 0F and 40mph winds this weekend, so it’s probably a good weekend for editing more of the photos from my last trip to the North Shore. Here’s another sunrise from that trip.

I think "death of the artist" has more to do with someone's perceptions of your art being their own, not the art itself. Sort of like how there's countless different versions of You in the minds of every person who's ever perceived you and that's their "You", not the real You.

I'm new to BSKY, can someone explain this? All I've heard about BSKY privacy is that there's no way to make your account private and all someone has to do is log out to see your stuff again. Is that inaccurate?
