Yay progress!

I totally get this...there is an authentic Mexican restaurant about a mile from my house...seriously the best food I've ever had anywhere, for less than the Taco Bell just down the road. Larger portions and better quality ingredients. Take it where you can in this day and age.

1. I don't mind cooking every night (my choice) because I like food too much to go without (and I've learned to make some kick-ass foods from scratch)

2. Inflation and corporate greed...because you know the money isn't going to the workers, but to the pockets of the greedy executives.

Rest is getting things accomplished, just saying,

Been there, done that...although it was the drain lines that broke...idiots that owned my house before me dry fit everything instead of gluing it together properly. Had to replace everything in that room. Still not 100% done after 6 years.

It runs deep in our family. What can I say?

They’re more like acquaintances than friends anyway 🤷‍♂️ I’ve learned I’m only good for something or useful to them when they need something from me. Once the roles reverse, they’re nowhere to be found.

I’m good with the very few genuine and true friends I have. Quality over quantity at this point.

This looks too familiar to me...had to do the same thing in one of my rooms in my house. It's like opening a birthday gift that no one wants. In some situations, the more you open, the more unwanted gifts pop out...good luck! Hopefully this will be it as far as surprises!

Everything in this video is spot-on. If only we could worry about what we're teaching, and not 99 billion other things simultaneously. I know we need to protect the mental health of our students, but society has forgotten about educators in the same regard.
