i think my gripe is with stuff that doesn’t actually revolve around a lesbian relationship tbh

(btw i’m not against yuri being used broadly in general. i call my comic yuri lol. it’s more just people asking for yuri recs and getting comments about wednesday, arcane, etc lol)

when someone says “there’s not enough toxic yuri” & u bring up killing eve like yes you’ve got the spirit but that’s kind of a different discussion if you want to read a GL comic

an interesting side effect of “yuri” overtaking “femslash” in the internet lexicon is you have people talking about yuri that haven’t read 1 japanese GL comic (yuri)
