To get their historic wage increase, ratification bonus, and benefit improvements, QPP workers fought and stood together. Over 400 workers attended bargaining before work, after work, and on their days off – that’s more than a third of the entire workforce at QPP.

The Food Secure Strikers Act would repeal the restriction on striking workers receiving SNAP benefits and protect the eligibility of workers to receive funds to buy food while on strike.

As a result of months of intense organizing, workers won a 15.6% raise, the largest wage increase ever seen at QPP. Workers will see a $2.20/hr in the first year alone, and a total increase of $3.10/hr over the 3-year contract.
