Went over the flowers… they’re more saturated, like everything else. Not done, but close. 108 hours, so far.

I'm tired of watching these fuckers murder the future.

Cool to see the Death Cult running our government laying waste to everything, and media reporting on it like it's business as usual. Also nice to see illegal shit the president wants reported as totally normal policy proposals. If we make it through this, lotsa folks need to face "finding out."

Honestly, what scares me even more is getting stuck in that liminal space between the aggro jerks & the ones paying more attention to their phone than the car they’re driving…

As more of a pacifist, I prefer to just tie the barrel in a knot. That way, no one gets hurt.

Same out here in LA, with the added benefit of a complete lack of traffic enforcement. I’ve watched people run red lights in front of cops, with no response…

Sometimes you have to remove paint to make a better painting. And now her arm looks right… or as right as one of 4 arms on a person can look.

Oil paint is never totally opaque. If I had just painted over that very dark area with the very light colors I was using, the dark would still be visible when it dried.

I won’t be dealing with Threadless, in the future. Hopefully I can find *someone* who can do quality printing and give me more than $1 of the proceeds. Art is hard... it's even harder when everyone's trying to rip you off. My hatred of unrestrained capitalism grows by the day.

Photo of a misprinted t-shirt. The image has vertical stripes, probably caused by clogged print nozzles on the printer used to make the shirt. There should have been a quality control process to keep this from going out the door.

I posted t-shirts a few weeks back. I ordered a couple to test and the quality was sub-par.They offered reprint. They showed up today. If anything, they managed to do an even worse job. I’m sorry to anyone who bought these.

I feel like IL Gov. Pritzker is actually the guy people who don’t live in CA keep thinking/hoping our mostly useless Gov. Newsom is.

I do get out of bed, though. Paintings aren’t going to make themselves…

Life as an artist in the USA means “having a rough go of it” is basically the default… and that was before we handed the country over to the meanest, craziest and least intellectually curious people there are. I’m surprised I still get out of bed.

So many people need to be primaried….

That’s a shame… NYC area accents are some of the best US English has to offer!

I was kept from having a MD( Bawlmer- adjacent )accent by parents who would make fun of obviously accented words/phrases I’d speak. It was effective, I guess.

That thing where you think you’re almost done… then it becomes obvious that a big portion of the background is wrong. I prefer saturated colors, so grey is my constant antagonist. I went too grey in the foliage, and there wasn’t enough contrast… so it’s getting fixed.

But why even engage? “Let’s worry about that when the president’s brutal immigration policies aren’t threatening the food supply” would be a better way to focus on the real threats we face. Why let the fascists dictate the rules of engagement?

Damn do I wish the Dems could worry more about important stuff like all the abuses of civil liberties or killing of basic science & health research or corruption or economy-killing illegal tariffs, instead of comparatively trivial stuff like who’s playing what amateur sports.
