A city dock. There are two large ships getting supplied loaded from a wood dock. A canopy tent set up on the dock for the dock master. There is a city warehouse just off the dock, with rows of boxes and barrels. There's a general store that sells a variety of adventuring supplies. A Tavern that has candle lit tables. Several vendors line the street, they have colorful canopy tents set up.

Do you have a city encounter for your players and need a battle map? Perhaps something at the docks? Try using this one.

In the right campaign, absolutely.

without downloading any new images, where are you mentally?

Their work is done, or at least unknowable. An all knowing, all powerful creature doesn't make for good story telling.

But lets be honest, a true all power god is just a stand in for the GM/world builder.

My gods are killable. Fighting an evil god can make for a great high level campaign. If one god is killed, there's always another to take their place.

I've always been a fan a Greek mythology, so I like the idea of the gods are just a race of people that are much more powerful than mortals. My gods come from an unknown greater deity that does not interact with the world at all, so it remains a mystery, leaving the gods to take all the credit.

Every time I sit down to write, I spend 45 minutes stalling, and doing everything I can to avoid writing. Like posting on social media... I swear I'm almost ready to get started... Just about ready to start...

I'm going to go make cookies.
