@theweekendmsnow.bsky.social I have absolutely no idea what campaign this (Epstein survivor) guest listened to in 2024, to have believed Donald Trump & voted for him after his lifetime history of lying??? To have believed him about anything?? Sheβs very brave to be speaking out now, no doubt.

The cheap health insurance promoted by Trump officials has this catch
As millions brace for higher insurance prices, plans touted by the Trump administration are attracting attention. They are cheaper, but coverage is often skimpy.
Beware βshort-termβ health insurance policies - they do not cover pre-existing conditions and donβt comply with ACA.
If thatβs not enough, just know that United Healthcare gives incentives to its salespeople to sell more of these junk policies.

Medicare premiums to jump 10% heading into 2026
Most Medicare enrollees will face premiums that are 10% higher next year, creating budget anxiety for millions of seniors.
βOlder adults and people with disabilities will pay almost $203 per month in 2026 for their Medicare Part B premium, the Trump administration said late Friday. Thatβs about 10% higher than the $185 per month that Medicare beneficiaries pay this year. Rising health care costs are a major concernβ

Force A Referendum On The Epstein Coverup
It divides Republicans much more than "affordability" or any other economic issue.
Sharp point from @brianbeutler.bsky.social: The fact that as many as 50 Republicans are expected to vote for release of the Epstein files shows attacking Trump's corruption and depravity actually can divide GOP, so not *everything* has to be "affordability."

That fall, the girl moved to live with a family member in Texas, according to Ms. Wolf. She did not complete her senior year in high school. She continued to work for minimum wage in the food services industry.
Ultimately, between the money she made from her interactions with men and in the food services industry she was able to save up enough money to get braces.
In this paragraph, we have a heartbreakingly bleak portrait of American society as it actually exists.

Honorable Scott S. Harris
Clerk
Supreme Court of the United States
Washington, D.C. 20543
Re: Rollins, et al. v. Rhode Island State Council of Churches, et al., No. 25A539
Dear Mr. Harris:
On November 7, we filed in the above-captioned case an application for a stay of the orders
issued by the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, along with a request for
an immediate administrative stay of those orders as this Court considered that application. Those
orders required the government to redirect billions of dollars in order to fund full SNAP payments
for the month of November by November 7. On that day, this Court issued an administrative stay
of the district courtβs orders; and on November 11, this Court extended that stay through midnight
tonight. Since then, Congress has passed, and President Trump has signed, a bill that put an end
to the government shutdown. That law, among other things, fully funds SNAP through the end of
the fiscal year. See Continuing Appropriations, Agriculture, Legislative Branch, Military
Construction and Veterans Affairs, and Extensions Act, 2026, H.R. 5371, 119th Cong. div. B, tit.
IV (enacted Nov. 12, 2025). Because the underlying dispute here is now moot, the government
withdraws its November 7 stay application in this Court.
Sincerely,
D. John Sauer
Solicitor General
The SNAP fight at the Supreme Court is officially over. Trump's Department of Justice acknowledges that SNAP is now fully funded through the end of the fiscal year and thus withdraws its request for an additional stay. The end of the shutdown mooted the case before SCOTUS could touch the merits.

Trump's fight with Laura Ingraham over H1-B should be read in this context. MAGA remains fully committed to removing all undocumented and provisionally present immigrants as a demographic reengineering project. This gives Dems a way to split the MAGA coalition.
