one thing that doesn't make any sense to me is why rook's starter gear looks like it's literally falling apart 😭

my tav nettles. she's a middle-aged halfling with light skin, orangey red hair that she keeps up on two space buns, green eyes and a prominent nose. she has a little scar on the corner of her lips that she got while she was foraging and had a one-sided fight with a bush (she lost).
