Yea, ive had...14 comments (total) on my 80+ episodes over the last 2 years, but I know I have listeners. I think people just don't take the time to comment

Hu, I had no idea. If I leave a comment I leave 1. I don't think ive ever left more than one comment for a fic, and ive read and finished like 2k fics at this point!

I see. It never occured to me that people expect comments every chapter and the lack of a comment implies someone stopped reading.

I just mean, if OP is judging their readership by hit count, I think it may be hurting rather than helping cause I don't think hit count means anything

Also, if there is a podfic i will sometimes listen to some and then read some and then go back to listening, or vice versa. I will sometimes open a fic as I listen to see the pictures, or I might listen to a fic 92737 times (looking at you Time in a Bottle) and not go to ao3 for every time.

How can you tell? Like based on hit count? Cause I don't think that number actually means anything. Maybe I use ao3 "wrong" but I have fics ive never read that ive opened 50 times, and fics that ive opened 5 times and reas 5 times
