Read The Spear Cuts Through Water last month and LOVED it. Read it in one day, could not put it down.

Love her writing. The Birds is so much scarier than the film adaptation.

Slow Horses by Mick Herron- I’m not the biggest fan of spy novels, but this book reads like a mix between James Bond and A Shot In The Dark. Overall, an entertaining read. 3.5 ⭐️ out of 5 #booksky #bookreview

Loved Frankenstein! I’m very curious about A Wizard of Earthsea.

I was browsing on Netgalley and found out my favorite historian has a new book coming out. I requested the ARC but am doubtful I’ll get it. Fingers crossed though.

After sticking it out for 300 pages because I did like the first one… I am DNF’ing Words of Radiance. Just cannot get into it. Sorry #booksky I will try Mistborn though.

Can some developed country PLEASE invade the US and save us from our mad dictator?

2026 Reading Goals Thread:
-Will read at least 7 books off of my physical TBR per month.
-Savings: will put $5 in savings for every book off my bookshelf I finish, $4 for every library book, and $2 for every book I DNF. Money will be used at the end of the year for new books.

Probably will not finish Words of Radiance by the end of today. I still have 900 pages left with no attention span whatsoever.

We're still waiting for those Epstein files to be released.
