Like what kind of logic is "We're not discriminating against trans people, just the diagnosis of gender dysphoria (that only trans people have). Echoes of Loving v VA "we're not discriminating against poc, we're discriminating against *everyone's* right to marry interracially!" ugh.

Yeah, it hurt. Many of my brothers and sisters wanted to crash out over this and it was sorely tempting to join them, given that I have a lil bit of knowhow on reading what this holding will do and can guess what lawmakers will do next with this precedent in place...

We need more just like her amplifying the voices of people who understand they took an oath to defend the constitution against all enemies *foreign and domestic*. The fascist in chief is a clear threat to our nation...

And the worst part is it wasn't even *good* photoshop. It was like a halfassed effort in MS Paint I could've replicated in a min or less. And of course 47 would try to actively deny reality in a live TV interview, when Bukele's own pics debunk the very idea.

You could change this meme only slightly and apply it to the new report from HHS about gender affirming care for minors, something like:

Given today and last week's arrests of sitting judges, I had to double check whether or not this is satire before I read the article. And that's only kind of funny.

I didn't understand it at the time, but the original Matrix has always been my favorite movie. Even the sequels were amazing, though not quite as good. I never really thought I was trans back then either, though like every egg, I had some..."thoughts". Funny how life works out like that.
