Finally got the front porch sanded, cleaned, stained, and sealed.
The gray paint was lead paint. Which made sanding and cleaning a whole lot more "fun" 🤪 full coveralls, respirators, and more how fun!

I was going to finally start the deck. But now I'm thinking of just resting after this project 😮‍💨

Social detox weekend was nice and needed. I went outside and touched grass. It feels good to be in the real world every now and then instead of the online world.

This is kind of true. 😅 I work with a lot of engineers, and have asked them: "Did you use chatGPT to write this?" And they're always bewildered that I can tell. I'm baffled at how many of them can't write a full sentence with a college degree...
It's probably why I was hired--logistical writing 🥲

GERD sucks. I ended up googling "heart attack symptoms" because the heartburn was that painful. The sweating and dizziness accompanied by the pain did not help calm me down. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

We got finches and robins on our bird feeder! I'm so freaking happy they like the feeder! 🥲 I learned that sometimes birds can be picky about the feeder and feed.

Also shout out the random neighborhood duck.🦆 I have no idea why you keep chilling on our roofs, but pop off my liege.

Attempting to make sweet sticky rice. I don't have a steamer or cheesecloth, so boiling water, sieve, and the overnight soaked rice is wrapped in clean unbleached muslin. I hope it turns out.
