Is the general opinion on crackships good? Because I think from a writing standpoint they’re very fun to try and get two almost random characters to have mutual affection to one another.

Bonus points if it’s a crossover. It’s just a buncha dumb fun.

I’m a big fan of crossover fics and weird AU fics but most people aren’t a big fan so I’m never sure if I should write them.

Unsurprisingly most people don’t like when you read them move the characters from their setting and put them somewhere else entirely :(

I feel like crossing over Pokémon characters into other media for fanfic kinda doesn’t work because half the appeal of the character is they have Pokemon so they gotta show up a lot.

But I feel like then the Pokemon could easily overshadow whatever they’re crossing over with.

It’s tough out here.

This is the best team crossover video I've ever seen.

I guess but that seems more like an anthology than a long fic with a consistent narrative throughout y’know?

I wanna do long fics for some ships im into but the problem is coming up with longfic ideas that aren’t just “a collection of one shots” is difficult

That’s interesting because I’ve tried generator sites and I just feel like a lot doesn’t click with me. Might be looking in the wrong spots.

I’ve started to just keep a list of ship prompts that I wanna write with certain ships for later use lol. So far I got like 10+.
