We've seen all 50 states, but never in the same trip. This past trip was likely our best yet (I know we broke 40 at least once before).

We had an amazing start before getting our of WV, including Rhode Island and both Dakotas, which are rare.

Most family vacations with long car trips 🚗🌴, we track how many unique license plates we see.

This past trip, we saw 44 of the 50 US states (plus Ontario) 👀

I plan to make a full app to help track (complete with example license plate pictures), but created this quick data viz 🗺️ as a start.

Quadtree is generally faster, more memory efficient, and handles out of order data (unlike bisect).

`band` mode also now supports time scales, and is used with `<BarChart xInterval={...}>`

Available in `2.0.0-next.25`.

Many tooltip improvements including the introduction of `quadtree-x` and `quadtree-y` (single dimension), and is now the default for `AreaChart`, `LineChart`, and `ScatterChart` (previously `bisect-x` and `voronoi`).

📊 LayerChart: Auto tick filtering based on format 4️⃣

Helpful to keep ticks above a threshold for short durations or wide charts and simplifies integer-only ticks.

You can still explicitly define each scale when needed (for example, use scaleLog or scaleUtc) but this simplifies most common use cases (look at the docs delta 👀📉).

📊 LayerChart: AutoScale edition 3️⃣

Version `2.0.0-next.35` will now automatically determine the appropriate scale type for each dimension by looking at the data / domain.

For example, will use `scaleTime` for `Date` instances, `scaleBand` for `string`, and `scaleLinear` for `number`.

📊 LayerChart: Rule mark edition (candlestick, lollipop, duration, etc) 2️⃣

Version `2.0.0-next.34` allows `Rule` to be used as a data mark (as well as annotations).

This improved the Candlestick examples, and can also be used for Lollipop and Duration charts.
