My first concert was Don Williams in 1981-82. I so didn’t want to be there so no clue as to who opened. I count Loverboy in 1986 as my first real concert. Openers were The Hooters, who I listened to as I walked the concourse looking at women who looked like they just stepped out of a ZZ Top video…

The greatest live band. Met them a couple of times. Always so gracious. There could be 500 people in the crowd or 50, you would get their all no matter the audience size . I saw them 2 consecutive days & had a chance for a third but I skipped out on hopes of getting laid. Regret that so much…
