🎨 The decoration painted onto these bottles is on the inside of the glass!

The process is known as verre églomisé, it is an application that not only requires special tools but an incredible level of skill.

Curved brushes are used to reach down the narrow neck of the bottle and the image is built up almost in reverse. Fine details are added first before the large image is created and colour added.

Both of these little snuff bottles were created by the same artist, Zhongshan Ye.

I have come to the conclusion the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces should not even come to Parliament. It is misleading and has caused distress for my trans constituents.

I urge @bphillipsonMP to reject it on grounds of practicality and human rights.

A rare species of bumblebee has been sighted at an Oxfordshire solar farm. The brown-banded carder bee was spotted during volunteers’ monthly “bee walks” at Southill Solar, outside Charlbury. There are 24 species of bumblebee in the UK, but only eight are common.
