My round up of what happened at Your Party's founding conference π
30.11.2025 21:00 β π 5 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0My piece in this weekend's @mstaronline.bsky.social about what's underpinning the current rise of the Green Party and why now is the time for socialists to join.

On Monday, Oxford City Council near-unanimously supported the Green Party motion which made clear our city stands against the far right and against regressive migration policy - from banning asylum seekers from working to scrapping family reunion.
08.10.2025 08:32 β π 69 π 22 π¬ 0 π 1Delegates at #TUC25 have voted for a motion which will see the TUC "campaign publicly on its policy for gender self-declaration"
09.09.2025 16:41 β π 122 π 49 π¬ 2 π 3Speaking to me at #TUC25, Green MP @carladenyer.bsky.social said: "It's clear that the Green Party and the trade union movement are very strongly aligned in our vision for what needs to change in the UK"
09.09.2025 16:37 β π 6 π 2 π¬ 0 π 0I spoke to @zackpolanski.bsky.social at #TUC25 about the relationship he wants to see between trade unions and the Green Party.
09.09.2025 09:37 β π 67 π 21 π¬ 0 π 0I spoke to @richardburgon.bsky.social at #TUC25 about Labour's deputy leadership election.
09.09.2025 07:56 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Green Party members: I'm keen to hear who you're voting for in the leadership and executive elections.
In lieu of Bluesky having a poll function here is where you can indicate which way you're voting:

Carla is explicitly referred to in the paragraph you've quoted from.
03.08.2025 17:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Said interview isn't relevant to the piece, but you can see me asking Adrian directly about this multple times here:
03.08.2025 17:42 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Just to be clear, the piece doesn't attribute the Greens' electoral success to Adrian Ramsay over Carla Denyer. It's an article about Adrian, not Carla - hence why I've dedicated a lot more words to him!
03.08.2025 16:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0I'm not sure what about the below paragraph is 'aggressive', but I'm sure others can draw their own conclusions!
I've also not mentioned Molly Scott Cato in the piece because it's not an article about Molly Scott Cato and she has nothing to do with the central argument.

Incredibly proud to have played a small role in getting these two wonderful people elected in East Oxford.
@greenpartyemma.bsky.social and @emilykerr36.bsky.social will now be part of the largest ever group of Greens on Oxfordshire County Council.
